OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS
We have two levels of recruitment; management trainees and experience hires.
The requirements and processes for recruitment into these two levels are
different.
Management Trainees
Management trainees are recruited through our regular graduate recruitment
programme referred to as Solaj Oil and Gas Experience (SOGE). SOGE was borne
out of the vision of Prof. S. Ade Ajayi, the SOLAJ Oil & Gas Services Limited Chairman, to
provide a platform for young, intelligent Nigerian graduates of tertiary
institutions to hone their business management skills by providing them with
comprehensive and robust training in business management principles, over an 18
months period. Successful candidates then join the SOLAJ
Oil & Gas Services Limited Unit Companies
operating across key sectors of the Nigerian economy.
Inaugurated
in 2015, SOGE has produced its first sets of trainees to date, most of whom now
occupy middle management positions in the SOLAJ Oil & Gas Services Limited with track
records of excellence in their chosen career paths. Eligibility for
recruitment into HEP is First and Second Class Upper Bachelor of Science
degrees or their equivalent in specific disciplines. Vacancies for management
trainees are advertised in Nigerian newspapers and our website.
Experienced Hires
Where vacancies exist, they are advertised in newspapers and our website.
Qualified applicants are invited for test, interview or both. Successful
applicants are placed based on experience and other qualifications.
